Well firstly, the title. "Is This Art?" Art is something so abstract that so often you find yourself wondering that same question. What you might find a pile of crap is a priceless sculpture to another. Because of this, the question "What Is Art" can so easily go unanswered yet universally answered because art is everything and everything is art. I would most definitely call this art (as apposed to the huge canvasses you see at art museums with only a spot of paint in the middle selling at millions) for sure. Anyways, on to the actual critique!

Personally, I find this piece quite abstract-art-like and it almost reminds me of a psychedelic briar bush. (does that make sense?) I like how you used all of the space with the same sort of jagged, crisp yet sketchy lines. (so often halfway through a piece the artist will change their style tactic, which can be unfortunately displeasing to the eye.) I think I could stare at this for a long while with all of its forever infinite patterns. It's like one of those designs you stare at for a while and get sucked into and then look away or blink and you still see it.

Now, for the star-ratings categories.... I don't really understand what they mean by vision so I rated lower on that but I'm sure whatever it is that this piece has it. I only gave you a 3 star originality rating because I have seen pieces like this before. It's also slightly doodle like, like something I would draw in the margin of my English or Math homework papers. however, the type of lines you used helped distinguish this from doodles so 3 stars for that. You showed excellent technique by my standards for tackling this design. You, firstly, left no empty border area and no large un-lined-through spaces, and, secondly, didn't do that tedious oh so easy habit of repeating practically the same exact pattern over again in different areas of the page. You instead spread different smatterings of "thorns" so to speak, throughout the page, making it flow nicer and become more pleasing to the eye. Like I was explaining earlier, this piece sticks in my head so it definitely has an impact. Overall, I don't give super 5 star ratings in critiques of anything because I believe, like my family, that there is always room for improvement and that this is no exception. I did like it though, so 3 and 4 star ratings I found were fair.

Hmmm.... If I could maybe give advice I would say to maybe crisp up the lines a bit or add a background color for some more interesting layout. Other than that, I certainly liked it!
